Easter 2014

Wow, did the month of April get away from me! We have been having lots of fun with the warm weather and we were busy celebrating Easter and now it's about to be May! Everything just needs to slow down please!

Alphabet bug spray game :-) "Spray all the "A" bugs!"
They are addicted to these vegetable-based temporary tatto earrings. *Emma with the nose pick*
Parent text messages :-(
My version of elf on the shelf...they named him Hop. Oh so original I know.
Waiting to do yoga with us in the morning
My ballerinas

Easter egg hunt with cousin P
Easter was also Dozer's 4th birthday! We sang to him and fed him hot dogs haha.

April Days

Fun things this month:

Staying in our pjs all day and then baking cookies
I love what a quirky kid she is- she reminds me of myself during my Punky Brewster/Blossom days :-)
So the girls have officially given up naps :-( In the past two months I think we've gotten three naps out of them. I'm not a happy camper and many days I end up with the above happening around 4PM. It's been a brutal adjustment for all of us...

In-n-Out at the park
Working on our alphabet
Meeting cousin Evan for the first time!
Had to get them their own yoga mats so I didn't have to do yoga over, under, and around the anymore hehe
Since Ellie the Elf provided such great incentive for good behavior at Christmas, the Easter Bunny sent this little helper! The girls named him Hop and wake up each morning searching him out.
First dance class! I cried a little. For reals. They danced with my childhood teacher and dance team instructor-such an amazing moment for me being back at the studio but with my little ones this time around! Aunt Natalie fitted them with their first ballet slippers and leotards while I took pictures like a crazy lady.
Dodgers opening day!
Again...what happens with no naps...
Game night!

We were curious a couple days ago about the girls' heights so we measured them against the wall (nearly impossible FYI with all the wiggling). They haven't had any doctors appointments in what feels like forever and don't have another one planned until July so I'm glad we got some stats :-)

32 Months
Emma is 37 inches tall
Olivia is 35.5 inches tall
