Family Photos Winter 2014

Family photos are finally a breeze! No one cries, for the most part everyone looks at the camera, and we are done in 30 minutes! Here are some of the photos we included on our holiday card this year:

Miss Penny-Lou Turns Two!

We were so excited to be invited to celebrate Penny's 2nd birthday at Disneyland. The timing couldn't have been more perfect since my younger sister was also performing at Disneyland! We love staying at the Grand California hotel so we planned a fun 2-day trip with our combined families. It ended up being quite the group: us four, Lauren, Corey, P & H, my parents, my younger sister, Meema, my uncle Leo, Corey's mom, sister, and nieces! Whewww. I think I got everyone? We had so much fun and getting to watch Penny's first reactions were priceless! All those little girls were so well behaved and were even more amazing when Pirates broke down for almost 30 minutes. I can't wait for all our future trips!

Ready to go! Three Mouseketeers have their ears and we are ready to celebrate Miss Penny!

Holidays!

I know I've said this before but the holidays just get better the older the girls get. They're helpful and excited, we can bribe them with Elf on a Shelf, no one is scared of Santa (in fact, this year they've had lots of questions for him), and they seem to appreciate activities like advents and presents a lot more! In some ways it can be more hectic and exhausting because they've got big ideas now that they voice over and over and over until they know we've heard them (case in point, we are requested daily to take them to the snow so they can "build a real snowman and wear jackets"). Even though the holidays can get a little crazy and busy I'm still incredibly thankful that I get to live the craziness with our kids and Alex.
