I know I've said this before but the holidays just get better the older the girls get. They're helpful and excited, we can bribe them with Elf on a Shelf, no one is scared of Santa (in fact, this year they've had lots of questions for him), and they seem to appreciate activities like advents and presents a lot more! In some ways it can be more hectic and exhausting because they've got big ideas now that they voice over and over and over until they know we've heard them (case in point, we are requested daily to take them to the snow so they can "build a real snowman and wear jackets"). Even though the holidays can get a little crazy and busy I'm still incredibly thankful that I get to live the craziness with our kids and Alex.
